Tilta's camera cages are a foundational product line and the architectural backbone of much of the company's accessory ecosystem. The cages are designed system-first: each model — Sony FX9, FX6, FX3, Canon C70, R5C, Blackmagic Pocket 6K, RED KOMODO, ARRI ALEXA Mini LF, and many others — provides cold shoe mounting, NATO rails, ARRI rosettes, and 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes at standardized positions so that Tilta's own follow focus units, side handles, top handles, baseplates, and matte boxes attach without bespoke parts. Cages are typically machined from aluminum with anodized or color-anodized finishes, and many models include integrated lens mount supports, HDMI/USB cable clamps, and access cutouts that preserve battery doors and card slots.

This system orientation is reinforced by Tilta's regular cage refresh cadence whenever a major camera ships, often within weeks of camera release. The company also publishes accessory kits — the Basic Kit, Advanced Kit, and Pro Kit tiers — that bundle a cage with a defined set of compatible accessories, making the cage a configurable starting point for building toward documentary, narrative, or studio rigs rather than a standalone protection shell.
