Core SWX LLC
Core SWX LLC is an American maker of batteries, chargers and portable power systems for film, television and video production, based in Plainview, New York. The company was established in 2001 as Switronix, Inc., which gave its base as Westbury, New York, in 2011. It took the name Core SWX in September 2016, when it also moved into a larger facility in Plainview. Ross Kanarek is its founder and CEO.
Engineering, manufacturing, service and shipping are handled at the Plainview headquarters, and the company also runs a West Coast office in Torrance, California. Since 2021, IDX Company of Japan has distributed Core products in that country.
