Hosa

Hosa Technology, Inc. is an American maker of cables, adapters and related connectivity products for music, professional audio, video and home entertainment, based in Buena Park, California. Sho Sato, who had moved to the United States from Japan, founded the company in 1984 with a borrowed desk and telephone. After three decades running it, he handed the company to his daughter, Mayumi Allison, and Hosa remains a family business.

Its catalog is organized into lines: Essential Hosa, Hosa Pro (including cables with REAN connectors), the higher-end Hosa Edge (including cables with Neutrik connectors) and Synth Playground patching products. Hosa also sells Zaolla Silverline cables with solid-silver conductors, Mogan earset microphones, and Goby and CAIG Laboratories cleaning and protection products. The range covers microphone, instrument, interconnect, headphone and DMX lighting cables, along with direct boxes, a cable tester and keyboard stands.
