Nisi

NiSi is a Chinese maker of optical filters and lenses for photography and filmmaking, sold under the brand of Zhuhai Chuanfu Optical Technology Co., Ltd. The company began researching and making optical accessories at its headquarters in Zhuhai in 2005. It has released more than 100 filter and holder products, including circular and square filter systems for still cameras, filters for cinema cameras and filter kits made for specific cameras and drones, and holds about 20 patents.

NiSi changed its logo in 2018 as it expanded beyond filters, and that year introduced the F3 series of full-frame cinema prime lenses. It also makes photographic lenses, including a 16mm f/2.8 lens for medium format.

The ATHENA PRIME series of full-frame cinema lenses was announced at NAB 2023 in 14mm, 25mm, 35mm, 50mm and 85mm focal lengths, with a shared 77mm filter thread and matching gear positions; the E-mount and RF-mount versions take drop-in filters behind the lens. NiSi added 18mm, 40mm and 135mm ATHENA lenses in 2024.
