Tilta

Tilta is a Chinese manufacturer of camera support and control equipment for film, television and video production, including camera cages, wireless lens control systems, matte boxes and gimbal support systems. Wenping Zeng and Kefeng Zhou, who had studied fine arts and worked in film and television, began designing camera accessories in Shenzhen in 2008 and opened a small factory in the city's suburbs in 2010, the year Tilta gives as its founding.

Design, research and production are based in Shenzhen, where around 290 people worked at the headquarters in 2023. Tilta Inc., established in 2016, runs a showroom, warehouse, repair center and offices in Burbank, California, for the Americas.

Tilta's first product was a rig kit for the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, and it went on to make cages and support for cinema cameras from ARRI, RED, Sony and Blackmagic Design. It added wireless follow focus systems in 2015, later including the Nucleus-M, developed accessories for DJI's Ronin gimbals in partnership with DJI from 2019, and introduced the Khronos accessory system for the iPhone 15 Pro in 2024.
