ARRI LMB 4x5 Clamp-On Set 3-Stage

ARRI's matte box program is organized around the LMB clip-on family and the larger MB studio mattes, with current offerings including the LMB 4x5, LMB-25, LMB 5/6, and rod-mounted MB-19, MB-20, and MB-21. The clip-on LMB designs use a stepped clamp system that fits a wide range of common lens diameters via adapter rings, allowing fast handheld or shoulder-mounted operation without rod support. Larger MB units use 15mm or 19mm rod mounting and add swing-away top hinges, modular flag systems, and rotating filter trays sized for 4x5.65 and 6.6x6.6 glass.

Across the line, ARRI standardizes on filter tray dimensions and stage spacing that align with established cinema filter formats from Schneider, Tiffen, and other glass manufacturers, so trays interchange without recutting filters. Hard mattes for specific focal lengths, modular eyebrows and side flags, and integrated French flags are part of the broader accessory ecosystem. The matte boxes mount cleanly to ARRI baseplates and lens support assemblies and are designed to coexist with cforce and cmotion follow focus motors and ARRI lens control accessories on shared rod sets.
