Overview

The ARRI Mini Matte Box MMB-2 Basic LWS Set is a rod-mounted matte box for 15mm LWS rods. The rods carry its weight instead of the lens, so it can hold a full filter stack without loading the lens mount. Its back opening takes lenses with 114 mm fronts. It holds two filters in 4.5-inch round, 4x4, or 4x5.65 trays. It turns a polarizer or graduated filter in its rotating stage and cuts stray light with a top flag.

Rides on 15mm LWS rods instead of the lens, so the rods carry the box and its filters. Its back opening takes lenses with 114 mm fronts.

2-Stage 4.5in Round / 4x4 / 4x5.65 Filter Trays

Holds two filters at once in 4.5-inch round, 4x4, or 4x5.65 trays, so an ND can be stacked with a diffusion or graduated filter in front of the lens.

Rotating Filter Stages

Every stage rotates, so a polarizer or graduated filter can be turned into place without moving the box.

Top Flag

The flag shades the lens from above, cutting stray light before it can reach the front element and flare the image.
