The ARRI PL-Mount to LPL-Mount Lens Adapter mounts PL-Mount lenses on an LPL-Mount camera body. It carries no optical elements, so focal length, maximum aperture and image circle are unchanged. The lens reports its metadata to the camera, so focal length and aperture are recorded with the shot. The camera cannot set aperture or drive focus through the adapter; both stay on the lens. A positive lock holds the adapter against the weight and handling of a cine lens.
