Overview
The Atlas Orion 100mm T2 2x Anamorphic Cinema Lens with PL-Mount is a telephoto anamorphic prime that covers Super 35 mm sensors. Telephoto focal lengths compress perspective and throw backgrounds well out of focus, letting camera operators isolate a subject from a busy environment or reach action at a distance. Its 2x squeeze produces a 2.66:1 field of view on a 4:3 sensor, commonly cropped to 2.39:1 for delivery. This is the classic scope format and carries the most pronounced anamorphic character. A fast T2 aperture lets camera operators separate subjects from their backgrounds or get the most out of available lighting when filming in darker environments, and the lens closes to T16. It uses a PL-Mount with manual focus. The focus barrel is available in either imperial or metric markings.

Telephoto Super 35 mm Coverage
The lens covers Super 35 mm sensors, projecting a 31 mm image circle. A telephoto field of view compresses distance and lifts a subject off its background, suiting clean singles and action reached from further back.
2x Anamorphic Squeeze
A 2x squeeze reaches 2.66:1 from a 4:3 sensor, commonly cropped to 2.39:1 for delivery. This is the classic scope format and carries the most pronounced anamorphic character — the widest flares, the most oval bokeh — which is exactly why many productions choose it.
T2 Maximum Aperture
At T2 the lens separates subjects cleanly from their backgrounds and gets the most out of available lighting when filming in darker environments. It closes to T16.
Imperial or Metric Focus Scale
The lens ships with either an imperial or a metric focus barrel. The scale is fixed at purchase rather than switchable, so a rental order or a set build has to specify which one is needed.
Interchangeable Mount

0.8-Pitch Cine Gears
The lens carries 0.8-pitch cine gears, the standard pitch for follow focus units and lens motors. Compatibility with lens control systems lets a solo operator make consistent, repeatable focus pulls, or a camera assistant control the lens remotely.
114mm Front Diameter
The front element measures 114mm, which matches the 114 mm standard most matte boxes clamp to directly. Matte box fit follows from this measurement rather than from the filter thread, since the clamp grips the outside of the barrel.
