Overview

The Canon EOS C80 Full-Frame 6K Cinema Camera is a handheld cinema camera built around a Full Frame Back-Illuminated Stacked CMOS sensor. It records Cinema RAW Light, XF-AVC, XF-AVC S, and XF-HEVC S internally to SD Card media. It shoots up to 120 fps at DCI 4K and UHD 4K, and 180 fps at 2K and Full HD. The camera takes RF-Mount lenses, has built-in ND filters from 2 to 10 stops, records C-LOG 2 and C-LOG 3 log, and runs on BP-A Series batteries.

The sensor resolves 19.04 MP and is rated at ISO 800, ISO 3200, and ISO 12800.

C-LOG 2 and C-LOG 3

Records C-LOG 2 and C-LOG 3 with Cinema Gamut, Rec.2020, and Rec.709. Also records HLG and PQ for HDR delivery.

Up to 180 fps

Records 120 fps at DCI 4K and UHD 4K, and 180 fps at 2K and Full HD.

Internal Cinema RAW Light

Records Cinema RAW Light internally, keeping the sensor's unprocessed image data for grading.

RF-Mount

Takes RF-Mount lenses, with electronic contacts for lens metadata and control.
