The FotodioX Fusion Smart AF EF-Mount to Z-Mount Lens Adapter mounts EF-Mount lenses on a Z-Mount camera body. It carries no optical elements, so focal length, maximum aperture and image circle are unchanged. Electronic contacts carry aperture control from the camera to the lens. Autofocus works in both single and continuous modes. Optical stabilization in the lens stays available through the adapter. The lens reports its metadata to the camera, so focal length and aperture are recorded with the shot.
Key Features
EF-Mount Lenses on Z-Mount
Mounts an EF-Mount lens on a Z-Mount camera body, holding it at the flange distance the lens was designed for so it still focuses to infinity.
Electronic Aperture Control
Aperture is set from the camera body, which drives the lens diaphragm through the adapter's contacts.
Autofocus Support (AF-S and AF-C)
Autofocus works in both single and continuous modes, so the camera can keep focus on a moving subject through the adapter.
Image Stabilization Support
Optical stabilization in the lens stays available through the adapter.
Lens Metadata
The lens reports focal length, aperture and focus data to the camera, so it is recorded with the shot.
