Overview

The Fujinon GF 19-35mm T3.5 PZ OIS WR Cinema Lens with Fujifilm G-Mount is an ultra-wide spherical zoom that covers Fujifilm Large Format sensors. Ultra-wide coverage takes in a full setting from a short distance, which suits establishing shots, tight interiors, and vehicle work where the camera cannot be moved back. Aspherical elements correct spherical aberration and distortion, holding sharpness toward the edges of the frame and at wide apertures. The lens opens to T3.5 and closes to T32. It uses a Fujifilm G-Mount with autofocus. Standard electronic contacts pass aperture and focus information between the lens and the camera body.

Key Features

Ultra-Wide Fujifilm Large Format Coverage

The lens covers Fujifilm Large Format sensors. An ultra-wide field of view keeps interiors, vehicle mounts, and establishing shots workable from close in, where there is no room to move the camera back.

T3.5 Maximum Aperture

The lens opens to T3.5 and closes to T32, a moderate maximum aperture suited to well-lit sets and to work that wants deeper depth of field.

Aspherical Elements

Non-spherical element surfaces correct the aberrations a fully spherical design leaves at the edges of the frame and at wide apertures, holding sharpness across the image without stopping down to get it.

200° Focus Throw

Its 200° focus throw is short, racking quickly from close focus to infinity — fast to operate and forgiving for a solo operator, at the cost of finer separation between distance marks.

Electronic Contacts

Contacts in the mount pass aperture and focus information between lens and body. The camera records those settings into metadata and can drive the iris electronically where the body supports it.

Mount & Rig Integration

0.8-Pitch Cine Gears

The lens carries 0.8-pitch cine gears, the standard pitch for follow focus units and lens motors. Compatibility with lens control systems lets a solo operator make consistent, repeatable focus pulls, or a camera assistant control the lens remotely.

114mm Front Diameter

The front element measures 114mm, which matches the 114 mm standard most matte boxes clamp to directly. Matte box fit follows from this measurement rather than from the filter thread, since the clamp grips the outside of the barrel.

111mm Filter Thread

The front accepts 111mm screw-in filters behind a 114mm front element. A matte box clamps to the outside diameter instead, which is what most cine setups use to avoid re-threading filters between lenses.
