The IDX System Technology SL-F50-PD 48Wh USB-C Lithium-Ion Battery with L-Series is a Lithium-Ion pack for any camera that takes Sony L-Series (NP-F) batteries, offering 48 Wh capacity. Its USB output supplies 20 V for charging or running small devices off the same pack. The LED on the body reports remaining charge. It sits under the 100 Wh mark, so airline rules allow it in carry-on without prior approval.
Key Features
48 Wh Capacity
Holds 48 Wh, which is what sets both how long it runs and how it may be carried on a flight.
Sony L-Series (NP-F)
Fits any device or plate built for a Sony L-Series (NP-F) battery, so it interchanges with every other pack on that mount.
7.27 V Output
Supplies 7.27 V through the mount, which is the level the cameras and accessories on this system expect.
Lithium-Ion
Built on Lithium-Ion cells, which is what sets its weight, its charge behaviour and the rules for shipping it.
Accessory Outputs
Carries a USB-C PD port that charges the battery or powers devices like monitors, recorders, or laptops.
30 W Maximum Draw
Sustains a 30 W draw, so a camera and its accessories can run from the one battery.
USB Power Output
Its USB output supplies 20 V for charging or running small devices off the same pack.
LED Charge Indicator
An LED on the body reports remaining charge without powering the rig up.
Carry-On Approved
Under 100 Wh, the threshold below which IATA rules let a spare battery travel in carry-on without asking the airline first.
