Overview

The Kondor Blue Quick-Release Adjustable Base Plate for 15mm Rod Rigs (Arca QR MKII) is a 15mm LWS baseplate. It mounts the camera through an Arca-Swiss plate, attaches to a tripod or gimbal through an ARRI-standard dovetail receiver, takes 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod screws underneath, and adjusts in height and locks its rods without tools.

Features

Key Features

15mm LWS Rod Support

Holds a pair of 15mm rods 60 mm apart under the lens — the lightweight (LWS) standard for follow focuses, matte boxes and lens supports.

Arca-Swiss Camera Quick Release

The camera rides on an Arca-Swiss plate that clamps into the top of the plate.

ARRI Dovetail Receiver

Slides onto an ARRI-standard dovetail plate on a tripod head or gimbal and clamps in place.

1/4"-20 / 3/8"-16 Tripod Threads

Threaded sockets underneath take a tripod screw or a quick-release plate directly.

Height-Adjustable

The plate's height adjusts to line the rods up with the lens.

Tool-less Rod Clamps

The rod clamps open and lock by hand, so rods change without reaching for a tool.
