Features

Key Features

Up to 13.5 kg Payload

The maker's rated payload for the camera package the system carries and balances.

173 cm Working Height

It works as low as 43.5 cm, measured from the ground to the camera plate. Folded, it measures 89.5 cm end to end, for transport and storage.

100mm Bowl

The head sits in a 100mm bowl, so it levels on the legs and swaps for any other 100mm-bowl head.

4 Steps Counterbalance

Selectable counterbalance steps match the head to the camera's weight and center of gravity.

Continuous Drag

Fluid drag on pan and tilt adjusts continuously, to suit any speed of move.

Manfrotto 509 Quick Release

Takes Manfrotto's long 509PLONG sliding plate, which balances heavier camera rigs fore and aft.

Carbon Fiber Legs

Carbon fiber tubes keep the legs light to carry and damp vibration in the shot.

Ground or Mid-Level Spreader

Takes a ground or a mid-level spreader, chosen for the floor and the shot.

Flip Locks

Lever locks on each leg section open and close with a single flick.

+90°/-50° Tilt

Illuminated Bubble Level

The bubble level is lit, so the head can be leveled in low light.

-20°C to 60°C Operating Range
