Overview

The Metabones CINE Speed Booster Ultra 0.71x PL-Mount to MFT-Mount Lens Adapter mounts PL-Mount lenses on an MFT-Mount camera body. Its optical group compresses the image circle to 0.71x, which widens the field of view and adds one stop of light. The camera cannot set aperture or drive focus through the adapter; both stay on the lens. A tripod foot carries the weight of the lens instead of hanging it off the camera mount.

Key Features

PL-Mount Lenses on MFT-Mount

Mounts a PL-Mount lens on an MFT-Mount camera body, holding it at the flange distance the lens was designed for so it still focuses to infinity.

0.71x Optical Reduction

An optical group compresses the image circle to 0.71x, widening the field of view and adding one stop of light.

Tripod Foot

A tripod foot carries the weight of the lens instead of hanging it off the camera mount.

Fully Mechanical

The adapter has no electronic contacts: aperture and focus stay on the lens, and the camera records no lens data.
