The SHAPE Matte Box Swing-Away is a swing-away matte box on 15mm LWS rods. It hinges open on its bracket, so lenses can be changed without taking the box off or losing the filter setup. Its back opening takes lenses with 67, 72, 77, 82, or 104 to 124 mm fronts. It holds two filters in 4x4 or 4x5.65 trays. It turns a polarizer or graduated filter in its rotating stage, cuts stray light with a top flag, and is built from aluminum and carbon fiber.

Top Flag
The flag shades the lens from above, cutting stray light before it can reach the front element and flare the image.
