Overview
The Sigma FF Classic Prime 65mm T2.5 Cinema Lens with PL-Mount is a standard spherical prime that covers Full Frame sensors. A standard focal length sees close to natural human perspective, which suits dialogue and coverage where the framing should not draw attention to itself. A fast T2.5 aperture lets camera operators separate subjects from their backgrounds or get the most out of available lighting when filming in darker environments. It uses a PL-Mount with manual focus. The focus barrel is available in either imperial or metric markings.

Key Features
Standard Full Frame Coverage
The lens covers Full Frame sensors, projecting a 43.3 mm image circle. A standard field of view sits near natural perspective, the neutral option for dialogue and everyday coverage where framing should not announce itself.
T2.5 Maximum Aperture
At T2.5 the lens separates subjects cleanly from their backgrounds and gets the most out of available lighting when filming in darker environments.
Imperial or Metric Focus Scale
The lens ships with either an imperial or a metric focus barrel. The scale is fixed at purchase rather than switchable, so a rental order or a set build has to specify which one is needed.

Mount & Rig Integration
PL-Mount
The lens mounts via PL-Mount, fitting industry-standard cinema cameras and adapting to most modern cinema and hybrid bodies. It operates fully manually and passes no metadata to the camera.
0.8-Pitch Cine Gears
The lens carries 0.8-pitch cine gears, the standard pitch for follow focus units and lens motors. Compatibility with lens control systems lets a solo operator make consistent, repeatable focus pulls, or a camera assistant control the lens remotely.
95mm Front Diameter
The front element measures 95mm, which fits a compact matte box directly and steps up to a 114 mm clamp with an adapter ring. Matte box fit follows from this measurement rather than from the filter thread, since the clamp grips the outside of the barrel.
86mm Filter Thread
The front accepts 86mm screw-in filters behind a 95mm front element. A matte box clamps to the outside diameter instead, which is what most cine setups use to avoid re-threading filters between lenses.
