Overview
The Sirui Jupiter 100mm T2.8 1.5:1 Macro Cinema Lens with EF-Mount is a telephoto spherical prime that covers Full Frame sensors. Telephoto focal lengths compress perspective and throw backgrounds well out of focus, letting camera operators isolate a subject from a busy environment or reach action at a distance. A fast T2.8 aperture lets camera operators separate subjects from their backgrounds or get the most out of available lighting when filming in darker environments, and the lens closes to T22. It uses an EF-Mount with manual focus.

Key Features
Telephoto Full Frame Coverage
The lens covers Full Frame sensors. A telephoto field of view compresses distance and lifts a subject off its background, suiting clean singles and action reached from further back.
T2.8 Maximum Aperture
At T2.8 the lens separates subjects cleanly from their backgrounds and gets the most out of available lighting when filming in darker environments. It closes to T22.
200° Focus Throw
Its 200° focus throw is short, racking quickly from close focus to infinity — fast to operate and forgiving for a solo operator, at the cost of finer separation between distance marks.

Mount & Rig Integration
EF-Mount
The lens mounts via EF-Mount, designed for DSLR bodies and adapting cleanly onto most mirrorless systems, where the longer flange distance leaves room for a simple adapter without corrective optics. It operates fully manually and passes no metadata to the camera.
0.8-Pitch Cine Gears
The lens carries 0.8-pitch cine gears, the standard pitch for follow focus units and lens motors. Compatibility with lens control systems lets a solo operator make consistent, repeatable focus pulls, or a camera assistant control the lens remotely.
95mm Front Diameter
The front element measures 95mm, which fits a compact matte box directly and steps up to a 114 mm clamp with an adapter ring. Matte box fit follows from this measurement rather than from the filter thread, since the clamp grips the outside of the barrel.
92mm Filter Thread
The front accepts 92mm screw-in filters behind a 95mm front element. A matte box clamps to the outside diameter instead, which is what most cine setups use to avoid re-threading filters between lenses.
