The Tiffen 4x5.65" Full Spectrum IRND 0.6 (2-Stop) filter is a rectangular 4x5.65 neutral density filter. It is sized for a matte box tray rather than threading onto the lens. The filter reduces incoming light by 2 stops, enough to open the aperture a little in daylight.

Neutral Density Filter

A neutral density filter cuts the light reaching the sensor without shifting color, so exposure can be set by aperture and shutter rather than by light level.

Rectangular Tray Format

The filter slides into a matte box tray rather than threading onto a lens, so one filter serves every lens in a set regardless of front diameter.

4x5.65 Tray Size

The filter is cut to 4x5.65 and fits a matte box tray of that size. Tray sizes are not interchangeable, so a 4x5.65 filter will not seat in a 4x4 stage.

2-Stop (ND4) Neutral Density

The filter reduces incoming light by 2 stops, enough to open the aperture a little in daylight.
