The Tiffen 4x5.65" Full Spectrum IRND 1.2 (4-Stop) filter is a rectangular 4x5.65 neutral density filter. It is sized for a matte box tray rather than threading onto the lens. The filter reduces incoming light by 4 stops, allowing wider apertures and slower shutter speeds to control exposure and hold a cinematic shutter angle in daylight.

Rectangular Tray Format

The filter slides into a matte box tray rather than threading onto a lens, so one filter serves every lens in a set regardless of front diameter.

4x5.65 Tray Size

The filter is cut to 4x5.65 and fits a matte box tray of that size. Tray sizes are not interchangeable, so a 4x5.65 filter will not seat in a 4x4 stage.
