The Tiffen 67mm Glimmerglass 1 filter is a round 67mm diffusion filter. It attaches to a lens's 67mm front thread and can be stacked with other filters via its own 67mm thread. Diffusion is rated at grade 1, the lightest grade on this scale, a subtle lift to highlights.
Key Features
Soft Focus/Diffusion Filter
A diffusion filter lowers contrast and blooms highlights, softening digital sharpness in a way that is difficult to reproduce convincingly in post.
Round Screw-In Format
The filter threads directly onto the front of a lens, which suits handheld and location work where a matte box would be in the way.
67mm Filter Thread
The filter threads onto a 67mm front thread. A lens with a different thread needs a step ring.
67mm Front Thread
The front of the filter carries its own 67mm thread, so a second filter or a hood can be mounted in front of it.
Grade 1 Diffusion
Diffusion is rated at grade 1, the lightest grade on this scale, a subtle lift to highlights.
