Overview

The Tiffen 72mm ND 0.6 (2-Stop) filter is a round 72mm neutral density filter. It attaches to a lens's 72mm front thread and can be stacked with other filters via its own 72mm thread. The filter reduces incoming light by 2 stops, enough to open the aperture a little in daylight.

Key Features

Neutral Density Filter

A neutral density filter cuts the light reaching the sensor without shifting color, so exposure can be set by aperture and shutter rather than by light level.

Round Screw-In Format

The filter threads directly onto the front of a lens, which suits handheld and location work where a matte box would be in the way.

72mm Filter Thread

The filter threads onto a 72mm front thread. A lens with a different thread needs a step ring.

72mm Front Thread

The front of the filter carries its own 72mm thread, so a second filter or a hood can be mounted in front of it.

2-Stop (ND4) Neutral Density

The filter reduces incoming light by 2 stops, enough to open the aperture a little in daylight.
