Tilta's matte box lineup spans entry-level clamp-on designs to full studio-grade modular systems. The Mirage Matte Box uses a proprietary variable ND/IRND system that integrates magnetic ND filter holders with adjustable filter strength, while the Mini Matte Box and MB-T15 lines offer more conventional 4×5.65 filter trays in lightweight clamp-on configurations. Larger systems such as the MB-T16 add multi-stage configurations with rotating polarizer trays, swing-away mounts, and standard 15mm LWS rod compatibility, targeting builds that already use Tilta cages, baseplates, and rods.

The matte box line is designed to interoperate cleanly with Tilta's broader rigging ecosystem, sharing rod spacing, mounting standards, and accessory threads with the company's Nucleus follow focus, top handles, and camera cages.
