Zeiss Nano Prime 100mm T1.5 Cinema Lens with E-Mount

Overview
The Zeiss Nano Prime 100mm T1.5 Cinema Lens with E-Mount is a telephoto spherical prime that covers Full Frame sensors. Telephoto focal lengths compress perspective and throw backgrounds well out of focus, letting camera operators isolate a subject from a busy environment or reach action at a distance. A T1.5 maximum aperture puts this among the fastest cine glass available, giving very shallow depth of field and workable exposure in low light, and the lens closes to T16. It uses an E-Mount with manual focus. Zeiss eXtended Data passes lens metadata through the mount, including distortion and shading characteristics for post.
Features
Key Features
Telephoto Full Frame Coverage
The lens covers Full Frame sensors, projecting a 43.3 mm image circle. A telephoto field of view compresses distance and lifts a subject off its background, suiting clean singles and action reached from further back.
T1.5 Maximum Aperture
T1.5 puts this among the fastest cine glass available. Depth of field wide open is measured in inches at close range, which demands an experienced focus puller and rewards one with separation no slower lens produces. It closes to T16.
280° Focus Throw
Its 280° focus throw sits in the standard range for cine glass, spreading distance marks far enough apart for repeatable pulls without making a full rack slow.
User-Interchangeable Mount
The mount can be swapped by the owner, letting one lens follow a camera package across bodies rather than staying tied to whichever mount it shipped with. That matters most to owner-operators buying into a system they expect to change.
Zeiss eXtended Data
Alongside focus and aperture, the lens reports its own distortion and shading characteristics. Post can remove and reapply those precisely, which matters when compositing into a frame the lens has bent.

0.8-Pitch Cine Gears
The lens carries 0.8-pitch cine gears, the standard pitch for follow focus units and lens motors. Compatibility with lens control systems lets a solo operator make consistent, repeatable focus pulls, or a camera assistant control the lens remotely.
95mm Front Diameter
The front element measures 95mm, which fits a compact matte box directly and steps up to a 114 mm clamp with an adapter ring. Matte box fit follows from this measurement rather than from the filter thread, since the clamp grips the outside of the barrel.
86mm Filter Thread
The front accepts 86mm screw-in filters behind a 95mm front element. A matte box clamps to the outside diameter instead, which is what most cine setups use to avoid re-threading filters between lenses.
