Leitz Prime 350mm T3.6 Cinema Lens with LPL-Mount

Overview
The Leitz Prime 350mm T3.6 Cinema Lens with LPL-Mount is a super-telephoto spherical prime that covers Vista Vision sensors. Super telephoto focal lengths compress perspective heavily and isolate distant subjects, which suits wildlife, sports, and coverage shot from well outside the action. The lens opens to T3.6 and closes to T22. It uses an LPL-Mount with manual focus. Cooke /i metadata passes through the mount for post and VFX workflows. The focus barrel is available in either imperial or metric markings.
Features
Key Features
Super Telephoto Vista Vision Coverage
The lens covers Vista Vision sensors, projecting a 46.5 mm image circle. A super-telephoto field of view reaches subjects far outside the action, the range wildlife and sports coverage depend on.
T3.6 Maximum Aperture
The lens opens to T3.6 and closes to T22, a moderate maximum aperture suited to well-lit sets and to work that wants deeper depth of field.
270° Focus Throw
Its 270° focus throw sits in the standard range for cine glass, spreading distance marks far enough apart for repeatable pulls without making a full rack slow.
Imperial or Metric Focus Scale
The lens ships with either an imperial or a metric focus barrel. The scale is fixed at purchase rather than switchable, so a rental order or a set build has to specify which one is needed.
Interchangeable Mount
The mount can be changed, leaving the lens free to follow a camera package rather than staying tied to the body it shipped for. Check which mounts the manufacturer offers before planning around it.
Cooke /i Metadata
The lens reports focus distance, aperture, focal length, and serial number to the camera frame by frame. That metadata travels with the footage into post, where VFX can match a CG camera to the real one instead of measuring the set afterwards.

Mount & Rig Integration
LPL-Mount
The lens mounts via LPL-Mount, fitting industry-standard cinema cameras and adapting to most modern cinema and hybrid bodies.
0.8-Pitch Cine Gears
The lens carries 0.8-pitch cine gears, the standard pitch for follow focus units and lens motors. Compatibility with lens control systems lets a solo operator make consistent, repeatable focus pulls, or a camera assistant control the lens remotely.
112mm Filter Thread
The front accepts 112mm screw-in filters behind a 114mm front element. A matte box clamps to the outside diameter instead, which is what most cine setups use to avoid re-threading filters between lenses.
