The PolarPro 77mm McKinnon 135 Series Chroma PL filter is a round 77mm circular polarizer. It attaches to a lens's 77mm front thread and can be stacked with other filters via its own 77mm thread. Its circular polarizer helps minimize reflections and glare from non-metallic surfaces without affecting autofocus or auto exposure. Additionally, the 77mm McKinnon 135 Series Chroma PL features a 16-layer multicoating that minimizes internal ghosting and reflections.
Key Features
Polarizing Filter
A polarizing filter cuts reflected light, deepening skies and clearing glare from glass and water.
Round Screw-In Format
The filter threads directly onto the front of a lens, which suits handheld and location work where a matte box would be in the way.
77mm Filter Thread
The filter threads onto a 77mm front thread. A lens with a different thread needs a step ring.
77mm Front Thread
The front of the filter carries its own 77mm thread, so a second filter or a hood can be mounted in front of it.
Circular Polarizer
Rotating the front ring varies how much reflected light is cut. A circular polarizer is used rather than a linear one so that autofocus and metering are unaffected.
16-Layer Multi-Coating
The glass carries a 16-layer multicoating that minimizes internal ghosting and reflections.
