Overview

The Rokinon 100mm T3.1 DS Macro Cinema Lens with F-Mount is a telephoto spherical prime that covers Full Frame sensors. Telephoto focal lengths compress perspective and throw backgrounds well out of focus, letting camera operators isolate a subject from a busy environment or reach action at a distance. The lens opens to T3.1 and closes to T32. It uses an F-Mount with manual focus. The focus barrel is marked in both feet and meters.

The lens carries 0.8-pitch cine gears, the standard pitch for follow focus units and lens motors. Compatibility with lens control systems lets a solo operator make consistent, repeatable focus pulls, or a camera assistant control the lens remotely.

67mm Filter Thread

The front accepts 67mm screw-in filters. A matte box clamps to the outside diameter instead, which is what most cine setups use to avoid re-threading filters between lenses.
