Overview

The Sony FX6 Full-Frame 4K Cinema Camera is a handheld cinema camera built around a Full Frame Exmor R CMOS sensor. It records XAVC internally to SD Card and CFexpress Type A media. It shoots up to 60 fps at DCI 4K, 120 fps at UHD 4K, and 240 fps at Full HD. The camera takes E-Mount lenses, has built-in ND filters from 2 to 7 stops (variable), records S-LOG 3 log, and runs on BP-U Series batteries.

The sensor resolves 10.2 MP, measures 35.6 mm x 23.8 mm, and is rated at ISO 800 and ISO 12800.

S-LOG 3

Records S-LOG 3 with S-Gamut 3 and S-Gamut 3. Cine. Also records HLG for HDR delivery.

Up to 240 fps

Records 60 fps at DCI 4K, 120 fps at UHD 4K, and 240 fps at Full HD.

E-Mount

Takes E-Mount lenses, with electronic contacts for lens metadata and control.

Recording

XAVC

Records internally in XAVC All-Intra, XAVC All-Intra VBR, and XAVC Long-GOP.
