The Wooden Camera UMB-1 Pro Matte Box is a swing-away matte box on 15mm LWS rods. It hinges open on its bracket, so lenses can be changed without taking the box off or losing the filter setup. Its back opening takes lenses with 80, 87, 95, 104, 110, 114, 125, 134, or 136 mm fronts. It holds two filters in 4x5.65 trays. It turns a polarizer or graduated filter in its rotating stage, cuts stray light with top, side, and bottom flags, and is built from aluminum.
Key Features
Swing-Away, 15mm LWS
Hinges open on its 15mm LWS rod bracket, so a lens can be changed without taking the box off the rods or losing the filter setup. Its back opening takes lenses with 80, 87, 95, 104, 110, 114, 125, 134, or 136 mm fronts.
2-Stage 4x5.65 Filter Trays
Holds two filters at once in 4x5.65 trays, so an ND can be stacked with a diffusion or graduated filter in front of the lens.
Rotating Filter Stages
Every stage rotates, so a polarizer or graduated filter can be turned into place without moving the box.
Top, Side, and Bottom Flags
The flag shades the lens from above, cutting stray light before it can reach the front element and flare the image.
Aluminum Build
Built from aluminum, a durable metal that stands up to daily use on set and in transport.
