The Wooden Camera UMB-1 Universal Matte Box (Base) is a rod-mounted matte box for 15mm LWS rods. The rods carry its weight instead of the lens, so it can hold a full filter stack without loading the lens mount. Its back opening takes lenses with 143 mm fronts. It holds two filters in 4x5.65 trays. It turns a polarizer or graduated filter in its rotating stage, cuts stray light with a top flag, and is built from aluminum.
